A shepherd has a distinctive language of sounds with which he communicates with his  flock. Does this language differ from one shepherd to another? Does it differ from one region to another? Does the herd know the tone of his voice? While wandering in the wilderness with his flock, time passes slowly, allowing his mind to wander within the realm of his imagination. And when his flock intersects with a flock of cars on a city street, we are brought to a stop and, in turn, given time to let loose in our imagination for a few moments before rushing back to our daily routines. This performance delves into those questions and impressions through sound, music, and image.
