This Wasteland of Senses - music by Dina Shilleh and Robin Burlton

In This Wasteland of Senses, we hear explorations on the nature of belonging, of how to place the personal in a land that weaves so many different threads into its tapestry of identity. The deeply personal and intimate are mixed with broader considerations of survival, struggle, patience and destruction. Musically this is heard in extremes of tempo, texture and form; sparse, static sound worlds give way to explosions of emotion which abruptly return to an uneasy calm - a reflection of the instability with which we live.
